Welcome to the Octave Choir website.
Based in Ainsdale, Southport, the choir performs a variety of music from choral arrangements of popular classics, through show tunes to light classical. Most of our performances take place in the Southport area and raise money for various charitable causes.
After the tragic events in Southport in 2024 the choir took part in a cover of one of Taylor Swift’s songs for ‘Southport Together in Song’. The video can be seen on YouTube.

Wanted: Accompanist
Do you have piano/keyboard skills and be able to accompany a choir for rehearsals and performances? We are looking for an Accompanist to play for our performances and at least a few Thursday rehearsals beforehand, although it would be great if you could play for all rehearsals. If your keyboard skills are almost there or if you just lack confidence accompanying we may be able to offer free lessons from our MD Lynda Fogg. Contact us for more details.
